YOU ARE INVITED! TASTE OF UNION - May 10
A Taste of Union returns to Homecoming Oct. 3! Union Public Schools annual event to raise money for United Way, in which the public will have a chance to try food from various sponsors and vendors, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 3, at the UMAC, 6836 S. Union. The event, which was first held in 2010, will be a fundraiser for the Tulsa Area United Way. The event will coincide with Homecoming. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under. Approximately 20 local restaurants will participate in the event this year – See you there!!

Member Tshirt Pick Up Times/Locations
UFBC will have a table in the UMAC Lobby during the following times for members who joined prior to Sept 8th, 2014 to pickup their membership tshirt!  See the times below: Tuesday, September 30th – 6:30pm  to 8:00pm in UMAC Lobby Wednesday, October 1st – 6:30pm to 8:00pm in UMAC Lobby Friday, October 3rd – 5:00pm to 7:00pm in UMAC Lobby (Stay for the Taste of Union at the UMAC!) **The 2nd order for all those who have joined after Sept 8th will be placed and pick up times will be scheduled the week of October 13th.

Band Rules for Marching Band
1) Any student not passing one of the semesters will be put on probation for the following semester. If the student does not pull his/her grade up to passing by the end of the next semester, he/she will not be allowed to continue in band . 2) Students can be withheld from performance/field trip opportunities at the discretion of the band director and principal for failing the class, skipping a performance, or for behavioral misconduct. 3) Band may only be dropped at the end of a grading period (nine weeks).

Looking for Volunteers
The Harding Park Football Booster Club is 100% staffed by parent volunteers. Each year the Booster Parent Group turns over 1 or more board members and additional volunteers as their Athlete graduates from the school. The board needs people to fill these openings to continue to support the Football Program. If you can devote the time, the Boosters can use your valuable help.
